Well, after a week-long bout of computer crashes, unexplained freezes and glitches, the long-awaited debut Shoe Tree Music Podcast is finally here. There are still a few things undone… but hey! At least the music is here!

Go ahead, click play and listen in! And be sure to read the show notes below. We’re glad you’re on board. And really glad to have this off the ground!

Show Notes…

First up is Mr. Fritz Henry

Most recently playing at Sand Water Grill in Tequesta, FL and the MONiteJam sessions in Okeechobee, FL

The music of Fritz Henry is a unique blend of folk, pop, country and rock that truly captures the “return to basics” style attracting audiences of the New Millennium. With vocals rich and varied, Fritz accompanies himself with 12-string guitar and harmonica delighting his listeners with rhythm, repertoire and range. Fritz’s professional career started within the rock of the 70′s as lead singer in various rock bands.

Fritz is followed up by Dougie Hodge - a good friend of ours, Dougie is an above average musician and song writer. Currently experiencing some difficult life issues, this is a shout out to send some love and prayers your way, Dougie. Excellent work on this song, and thanks for sharing it with us…

Next up is Bam Wilemon – Keep your eyes and ears open for up and coming country music singer-songwriter, Bam Wilemon. This curly haired, blue eyed, well mannered southern boy out of Alabama has mapped out his future and is determined to make his way in the music industry. With a tone similar to Dierks Bentley yet offering something a little grittier, he’s definitely worth a look and a listen.

Having known of Corey Brumback and his family for many years, it was a pleasant surprise to find him recently writing and performing in the Louisville, KY area.

A good song, well sung-it’s such a simple goal, yet it eludes most singers. Especially the ones on the radio. Because in this age of Auto-Tune, the industry seems to think it’s impossible to tell the difference between a slicked-up “recording artist,” whose team of engineers and computer jockeys makes sure those ones and zeroes hit the right notes, and an actual singer with a voice that has character, purity, and honesty. But, of course, once you hear the real thing, once a real singer’s voice emerges from behind the veil of silicon, you remember what a voice sounds like, and how it can pierce your heart. Corey Brumback makes you remember.

The Shoe Tree Music Podcast is proud to promote:

Strung Up Jewelry – Recycled guitar string jewelry. Featuring necklaces, chokers, rings, earrings, bracelets, bangles & more! Portions of all sales go to support Concerts of Hope, a ministry with the mission to restore dignity to people with mental illness through the balance of faith, life management and medication.

Wrapping up today’s show is Kyrsten Paige Roseman. Kyrsten Paige is the oldest daughter of Glen and Joyce Roseman.  The depth of writing and vocal pathos found in the music of Kyrsten comes from her story.   At birth, she contracted the Beta Strep Virus which kills all your white blood cells. Along with this, she also developed pneumonia. The doctors prognosis was not encouraging through that first long night . However, within hours it was obvious this being had a special journey to voyage. By virtue of a miracle, the white blood-count rose on it’s own and recovery was in process.
